by Gulf Craft has launched its new Majesty 62 M and the brand’s entry-level Majesty 49, which were both on display in Abu Dhabi in October.
Gulf Craft displayed its two newest Majesty models in a six-yacht line-up at the Abu Dhabi Interational Boat Show in October. The UAE builder was the biggest exhibitor at the show where it exhibited its new Majesty 62 M and Majesty 49 as well as a Nomad 95, Oryx 379, Silvercraft 47 and Silvercat 40 Lux.
Building on the hull of the standard Majesty 62, the new Majesty 62 M has an overall length of 6lft 7in. The first unit is fitted with twin Caterpillar 1,150hp engines, while twin MAN 800hp engines are an option.
Originally known as the Majesty 62 Maldives, the model is designed for tropical climates and offers superior-strength air-conditioning. The aft cockpit offers alfresco dining, while the main-deck interior begins with a compact galley to starboard and a dining area to port. Up two steps is the saloon, which is particularly spacious due to the absence of a lower helm and features two long L-shaped sofas and two coffee tables, plus a large TV in a cabinet underneath the vertical windscreen.
There’s also a good-sized lounge with storage for luggage on the lower deck, which has a full-beam master suite midships and a VIP cabin forward, both with en-suite bathrooms. There are also self-contained quarters for two crew with direct access to the engine room.
The flybridge has a hardtop, optional soft enclosure and the yacht’s sole helm station. Social areas can include an aft sofa, covered dining area to port and a large full-width sunbathing area forward. The foredeck offers more outdoor space with a sofa and forward sunpads.
The Majesty 49 succeeds the Majesty 48, but features different exterior styling to her predecessor. Distinguished by striking, angular lines, the flybridge motor yacht measures 47ft 9in overall and is the new entry-level model in the Majesty range.
Like the Majesty 62 M, the yacht is available with tropical-strength air-conditioning throughout. The first hull is fitted with twin 650hp Volvo Penta D6-IPS engines, although multiple options are offered including four Mercury Verado outboards.
Outdoor spaces include a swim platform, aft cockpit and a foredeck with sunpads, with the flybridge as the standout exterior zone. Accessed from the cockpit by portside stairs, the flybridge features a wet bar in the aft port corner, an L-shaped sofa and an adjustable table, while forward is the upper helm and a roomy triple sunpad.
The interior layout starts with a large galley aft, while the saloon features a C-shaped sofa and a flexible table to port, facing more seating and an entertainment centre to starboard, aft of the helm station.
Impressive lower-deck accommodation includes the forward master suite, which features a walkaround double bed, large hull windows and an en-suite bathroom on the starboard side. The two guest cabins span the 14 ft 5in beam midships, each with two sliding single beds and both sharing the day head with shower to port.
Both models are available in Asia through Farfalla Marine, which represents Majesty and fellow Gulf Craft brands in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. All new yachts delivered through Farfalla Marine include 12 months of management, advanced crew training and AGlaze hull treatment, while the dealer offers special mooring and membership deals for Lantau Yacht Club in Hong Kong and Phuket Boat Lagoon Marina in Thailand.
