The Italian builder has launched its Grande 26 Metri model, with the latter boasting a ‘never-before-seen feature!

Azimut has launched Grande 26 Metri model ahead of their official world premiere at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6-11.

Model feature exterior design by Alberto Mancini and interior design by Achille Salvagni.

Inspired by the flagship Grande Trideck launched in 2021, the Grande 26 Metri features a sea view terrace that’s created by raising the stern hatch so it becomes an extension of the cockpit.

Convertible furniture allows it to be changed into an alfresco living area or an open-air dining zone with a walkaround table for access on all four sides and clear sea views.

The main deck includes a saloon and dining area plus an owner’s suite with floor-to-ceiling, while the lower deck has four guest cabins and crew quarters in the bow.

Grande 26 Metri feature extensive use of carbon-fibre and vinyl ester resin that reduce the superstructure weight by 30 per cent, lowering the power and fuel required.

The Grande 26 Metri is powered by a new Pod drive system which, with the lighter structure, lowers fuel consumption by 20 per cent compared to traditional boats of similar dimensions, according to Azimut.
