by Fugu 29, the first model of the Swedish start-up FUGU, is ready for use. RIB, signed by Palma-based BYD, has been compared to a 9.16-meter light rocket plane.
The reason is the incredible speed it achieves thanks to the patented Pete Step body. Pete Step form, which has less wet surface compared to the classic V body, offers a more stable ride thanks to its half gravitational force and less water hitting.
The RIB, whose shock absorbing seats are completed with foot pedals, can increase its speed up to 60 knots with the 430 hp Mercruiser V8 engine.
Despite the speed, the boat consumes low fuel and consumes around 1 liter per mile at 40 knots. At 20 knots, the range of Fugu 29 is 300 nautical miles.
The boat has a V-shaped bed. Optional toilet compartment can be added.
