It is a brave step for a European manufacturer to produce a closed flybridge model that will not be accepted with enthusiasm in this geography. However, in regions where a climate-controlled flybridge is attractive, such as Asia, Southeast Asia and North America, these models are quite popular. As for the closed flybridge design, Nuvolari Lenard’s initiative, responsible for the MCY series, did a good job by not giving the appearance of a tower like its competitors.

There are also many nice details in the interior layout. Since there was no need for a steering wheel downstairs, there was space for a six-seater dining table on the deck floor and a toilet conveniently located at the back of the hall. Elegant glass steps and chrome handrails lead directly into the upper hall with sliding doors leading to the stern deck, large enough to accommodate the comfortable seating, steering wheel and several sun loungers. The glass sunroof with sunshade provides both more daylight and natural air flow when you do not want to use the air conditioner.

The boat takes the following four-cabin layout, hull and propulsion from the standard 70 and is equipped with the same pair of 1300hp MAN V8 diesels, although they are five tons heavier. This extra weight causes the boat’s top speed to be 2 knots lower than the other model, but the cruising speed of 22 knots is also preserved in this model.
