French Prestige Yachts introduced its first catamaran, the I’M48. Prestige M48 is 14.79 meters tall and 6 meters wide.

The first model of the M-Line series is signed by Italian designer Camillo Garroni and French Philippe Briand. The interiors of the boat were entrusted to Valentina Militerno de Romedis.

An innovative choice for Prestige, inverted stem bows, was chosen for the M48, which is nicknamed “villa opening to the sea”. The stern swimming platform of the boat is electric and the middle section that can move up and down can act as a 6-meter terrace or tender lift.

With two 320 hp engines, the speed of the M48 reaches up to 20 knots. M48, whose wet surface is 20 percent less than conventional catamarans, thus consumes less fuel.

The boat, which can travel 250 nautical miles at 18 knots, has a range of more than 600 nautical miles at 8 knots. In the three-chamber version, the main cabin of the M48 is spread over 18 square meters.

It is also possible to arrange the boat with a four-cabin layout.
